Transformers
Reviewed by alzzy101
Well my review I just had to share is on a movie called TRANSFORMERS. This is probably the best movie I have ever seen.
So this is what happened - I was with my brother and his friend and we always see a movie when we’re together. We looked at the screen and couldn’t see anything good, so we picked Transformers. I didn’t want to watch it because I thought it would be a boring animated movie like the old TV series. But I was dead wrong.
The story is about a 17 year old boy (Sam Witwicky) who is at school and wants a new car. He gets the money his dad asked for and his dad buys him a yellow car with racing stripes. His car gets stolen and he tries to find it. He then sees a massive alien robot signaling in the air. When the car (Bumblebee) shows himself to Sam Bumblebee, it takes Sam and his friend (and crush) to a small alley where other transforming cars meet them. The leader of the AutoBots, Optumus Prime, tells him that they are here in search of a cube - The Allspark. It was lost from their planet and is on earth and they must find it before Megatron and the Decipticons.
I highly recommend you rent this movie which is now out on DVD!

WALL-E Review + 2 Bonus Movie Tips
Reviewed by Hollyness
After an eventful morning of almost missing the bus AND train, my boyfriend and I finally arrived at the cinema to watch the very-anticipated movie, WALL-E.
I’d seen the trailer for WALL-E on TV once or twice. I didn’t feel overly excited about seeing it but there wasn’t much else on at the cinema that didn’t have to do with some sort of killing/violence/stupidity. Besides, I was going to get free popcorn (hehe).
* TIP 1. If you’re low on cash and want to see a movie, bring someone else along like your mum, uncle or boyfriend. You might get spoilt with free goodies!
There was a bit of a line, but because we got there 10 minutes early we got to snag a good seat in the middle. Ben had to run to the bathroom while the credits were on, but I was able to keep our seats. :)
* TIP 2. If you want a good seat, I do suggest you arrive early. Some poor buggers who came in during the end of credits had to sit up the front! Ouch!
ALSO, I don’t discourage seeing a movie by yourself, BUT if you do forget to go to the bathroom or get some snacks, friends and family are good seat holders!
Anyways back to the movie, the credits were over and the movie had just started. I absolutely ADORED the opening music and actually didn’t fully understand what was going on in the first 10minutes, but I picked it up after a while. (It will keep you guessing!)
Overall I really loved the movie. There were a few “ha-ha” moments, but overall my main view of the movie was “could this get any cuter?”
WALL-E is the cutest robot you will ever see. Even though he’s a machine, I think he’s got more humanity than most characters you’ll see in any other movie. There is also a strong statement in the movie which I figured out at the end – “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure” (Or robot in WALL-E’s case).
Without giving too much away, I really loved the relationship between WALL-E and EVE. But you’ll have to go watch the movie to see what I mean :D
I give WALL-E 10/10 for a superb storyline, funny characters (the fat people are epic), absolute cuteness, the curious love between EVE and WALL-E, and overall creativeness of the graphics and movement of the characters.
Quickly see it before it gets removed from cinemas! It’s really worthwhile!
