Desperate Housewives: The Game (PC)
Reviewed by ,Megan

In this game you are the new housewife on Wisteria Lane. You have a teenage son and a husband that works downtown as a doctor. You get to buy clothes for yourself, get your hair done. You can even sneak into other people’s houses on Wisteria Lane when they are sleeping or at work, steal their stuff and then sell it at the pawn shop downtown.

Everyone on Wisteria Lane has their own secrets - including you! You have to figure out your shocking mystery along the way as you complete each chapter as well as figuring out everybody else’s juicy secrets. Talk to Susan, Bree, Lynette, Gabrielle and Edie and either backstab them or be their best friend. The game also has mini-activities which include cooking, gardening and playing poker with the other housewives.

This is the best game in the world! The graphics are awesome and it’s like The Sims but except on The Sims you don’t get to take pictures of your neighbours while they are sleeping in their house, or get threatened by your son’s teacher at school.

I rate this game 12/10 because it’s so much fun and I personally love getting to burn the dinner on purpose when I find out who my husband hired to be his new assistant =D

Fable the Lost Chapters
Reviewed by =-Dj-Alex-=

Have you ever wanted to be a mage or a warrior? Well the game you want is Fable the Lost Chapters. First you start off as a little kid in the world of Albion, living in Oakvale. It’s your sister’s birthday so you’ll need to buy something. You need some money so you do some deeds. You can either do good deeds or bad deeds. The deeds you do will affect your appearance, your scariness and much more. When some bandits raid the village of Oakvale, a person finds you and takes you to a place called the “Guild”. The Guildmaster trains you with your sword, bow and your magic skills.

When you continue on your story, you will fight different monsters which you train on to get stronger. Do quests to get popularity, money, experience points and sometimes you get items.

You can explore more in Albion than just doing the story. You can try to obtain all the silver keys to unlock the silver chests or open all the demon doors. You can even marry someone and buy your own house. So I recommend you buying Fable if you are a 15 years old and over.

Thumbs Up Rating: 5/5

Ratchet: Gladiator (PS2)
Reviewed by GameConsole

My best friend was bugging me to get this game, so I ended up buying the game a week later. But when I got it, I loved it and played it for weeks.

The object of the game is pretty simple. All you need to do is battle your way through lots of levels and complete all the missions. The missions can be either finished in easy, medium, hard or extremely hard. The levels are quite big, with lots of secret places to hide from the enemies and are various conditions (e.g. deserts, forest and battle arena etc).

The weapons get leveled up the more you use them. The first time you get through the game the maximum level they reach is 10. But when you finish the game for the second time the weapons can reach level 100. There is a range of weapons. The first two you start off with are double machine guns and shockwave. But you get the RHINO IV which is the ultimate weapon in this game.

The graphics are good for a PS2 game, but they needed more levels.

I’m giving it a 7/10 *thumbs up*

Bleach: Shattered Blade (Wii)
Reviewed by Loganmon

On guard and… FIGHT! Hello, Loganmon here to tell you about a revolutionary game for the Wii - Bleach: Shattered Blade. I will be telling you the background of the game and the main features of the game.

As most of you know, Bleach is the series of a group known as the Soul Reapers, up against a group known as the Hollows. So let me now take you through the basic parts of Bleach: Shattered Blade.

The controls become pretty easy as you progress through the game due to the fact that your sword is controlled by your Wii Remote; slashing, slicing and stabbing. Critical and special moves can be performed through the same actions but with the minor alteration of the A or B button.

The first feature that you may want to explore is Episode Mode. Episode Mode is where you play the story of certain characters. To start off you have three choices: Ichigo Kuraski, Reiji Abarai and Toshiro Hitsugaya. More characters can be unlocked as you go though, so don’t be discouraged xD. Basically, you have one fight, followed by about three random fighters, followed by another part of the story, followed by ANOTHER three, followed by the last part of the story and the final fight. It gets pretty easy as you go.

Arcade mode is where it gets fun because you get to pick one fighter to use for eight different fights. Playing in arcade mode ensures you will get most characters you want in due time. The easiest way to play the game is to experience the game in Arcade Mode, because you get to verse many different people.

Overall the game has been a great joy to play, and the joy keeps coming. I found it a very good game to play because it kept me on my toes trying to figure out ways to bash my opponents. There was only one thing I hated, after every single fight or story scene, you get.. LOADING SCREENS! This was by far the worst part of the game because they take forever.

All in all I’d give this game a rating of 9.5/10 (The .5 was taken away for the loading screens which take up about 20% of the game.)
