If you find that you spend hours finding the right words to write for a competition, or just want a few helpful tips read on!
Guide 1: Before entering the competition, read the instructions thoroughly (I remember having not read the instructions properly for a comp and entering something completely wrong!)
Guide 2: Make your entry unique. I don’t envy the staff having to read the same entries over and over again. Think outside the square.
Guide 3: Use correct spelling and grammar. Sloppy typos and grammar look tacky and will narrow the chances of your entry being chosen.
Guide 4: Plan your idea. Whether you type it out in a word document, get someone else to check it for you or you design it on paper it does help.
Guide 5: Don’t drone on and on about the same thing. It gets boring and your entry will lose appeal.
Guide 6: Try your hardest and never give up! If you lose one competition, don’t worry because there’ll be plenty more.
Happy Habboing!
