Recently I did the global peace survey and it really made me think that there is so much people can do to help the less fortunate. So why not think of a few things you can do to help out. Most of the time people say they’re too young to help out, but there is always something you can do.
1. If you see a person sitting in the street who is performing all day long for a couple of dollars, donate them some spare change if you have any. Even though it doesn’t make a huge difference to us, to them it could mean the difference between eating and going hungry.
2. Instead of throwing out your old clothes or old belongings because you think they are useless, donate them to a charity because even though you do not use them someone else could.
3. One of the easiest things you can do is just show some respect. When you see someone living on the streets don’t laugh at them, just show them some respect and treat them like you would your friends.
So there you go! Three easy things you can do to help improve someone’s life. Remember when you feel like your life can’t get any worse don’t think about what you don’t have, just remember what you do have and always keep a smile on your face :) Sometimes even a simple smile can brighten up someone’s day :D)
