I have never been christian but..
I would if god actually did something?
I am confused about the existence of God.
I want to believe in it, but I find it hard to.
I was atheist for a while, but I am trying to become christian again.
Iunno, there are two things I have problems with;
How God apparently hates gays,
and evolution.

I am not christian, infact any full on religion
but some stories i hear, like the chinese story about how Leaders and Followers were made. I reckon that's pretty cool. Also Aboriginal stories are cool as well.
So I guess, I'm not an Athesiast (sorry dunno how to spell it ;p) But.. I am not a believer of some sort of Religion.

Evolution has solid, modern evidence and research backing it. What does religion have; a bunch of scriptures written thousands of years ago, by a man with huge ego?

No one will truly know if he exists or not. The only way you could know is by dying, yet people are too afraid to die.
And if you did die and realised there was a god, and a jesus, and a heaven, it would be too late to tell anyone, wouldnt it?
How can God be a...saviour and the all mightly Lord who loves us all? He lets us die horrible deaths he brings hurricanes, tsunamis that ruin peoples lives forever. He doesn't stop the murderers stalking the innocent he doesn't help the little children dying because they have no food. Half the world might think he's great they might think he's the best thing ever, but I think one thing; He can't be too good if he lets this happen.

what about the hundreds of people dying everyday of different reasons, people living in poverty, Rhape and abuse and everything else...why isnt god performing his "miracles" on those?

ok i'm not saying i don't have respect for other religons i seriously don't care what they choose to belive in but that youth day thing seriously they carried on a bit it went for like a week and they basically took over sydney thats the kind of stuff that annoys me

If there was a god, he would not expect me to believe in him simply because another human told me he was real. I want God to appear in front of me, and maybe then I'll have 'faith'.
