Road tripping with your parents is kind of like watching old reruns of Dawson’s Creek – you can’t help but love it, but on the dag-o-meter it rates about equivalent to Dawson’s weird haircut.
Anyways, last weekend I spent twelve hours in the car with my elders on a round trip to Tamworth. Everything started off fine and dandy, we all agreed on a radio station and decided who was driving when. By the time we got back into Sydney (just over 24 hours later) it was a whole different scenario. My sister was cranky cause her butt was unconscious from not moving, I was screaming at my seatbelt that wouldn’t stop ratcheting me in and mum had confiscated all the lollies off dad because he complained it took her too long to buy them.
So if any of you are preparing to be stuck in a confined space with your family, here are a few things I’ve learnt from experience:
1. NEVER forget your iPod
2. Stay up as late as you can the night before and sleep through as much of the trip as possible (great way to get out of driving too)
3. Don’t eat bacon and eggs in the morning. These kinds of farts in a packed car are enough to drive anyone straight off the road!

You know what’s really ticking me off? EDUCATION! Purely from a NSW HSC student’s perspective, the Board of Studies is kicking my butt. I’m not sure about the rest of you, but I’m going to say, especially the kids doing their final year at school, you’re losing sleep, losing weight, putting on weight, feeling like you have PMS all the time and seeing the never-ending line of assessments waving and saying “Hi!”.
I keep on getting warned that my marks will be scaled down because of the school I go to. GOSH DARN IT! C’mon, BOS, you’re just being mean now! And it won’t just happen to me. The people from the BOS on their high horses will scale THOUSANDS of students down who deserve the highest mark possible, and I have seen these students been reduced to tears week after week. The worst part is- I can’t do anything to change it. The mark that I deserve will go to some-one else who has done half the work, but goes to a better school. Tell me how that is fair? And on the side, you can’t get a mark of 100 anymore- only 99.95. WHAT A MOTIVATION KILLER!

My little brother turned four last Friday(19th June) and that night he said the cutest thing!
I was listening to the new Linkin Park song, New Divide, that's the first track on the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen album. It's also featured on the ad for the movie.
My little brother said "I hate this song." I laughed and told him it was the Transformers song (he got Optimus Prime and Megatron toys lol). Then about 5 seconds later, he replies with, "Oh. I LIKE THIS SONG!" It was so cute!
His favourite's Bumblebee and he was highly disappointed that he didn't get one.Emetophobia

Well it's a sad day today with the passing of Michael Jackson and I can see from all the forum posts, groups and rooms that it has touched the Habbo community too. It's a tragic end to what is otherwise an exciting week.
For instance in Habbo we've launched the first-ever (for AU/NZ) Habbo Awards and have also introduced our New Community Manager. And we have even more award categories and competitions planned for next week.
