Mosquitoes prefer children to adults, and blondes to brunettes. fever,

fozzieCan you believe it’s 7:06am and I’m sitting on the train writing this to you? High 5 for dedication!

It’s been another packed week in Habbo with two campaigns running at once. At the start of the week we held our breath as the results of the Academy Awards filtered through. There were a few surprising results (Avatar was robbed!) and even more surprising red carpet choices. Did anyone else like Zoe Saldana’s dress, or am I the only one?

But if making movies isn’t your thing there’s always a Boar to catch! It’s not too late to complete The Boar of Baskerville quest steps and earn yourself a badge.

Next week stay tuned for favourite Director voting and The Webbies award ceremony. We’ll also have a surprise in store for Habbo Club members and the start of something new by the end of the week.

Well that’s it from me Habbos! Enjoy your PP and have a smiley weekend!
Fozzie

Not sure if you guys are old enough or “geographically challenged” enough to remember Columbia House Record Club? Their mailers would flood your mailbox with offers of 12 albums for 10¢. I distinctly remember picking out my 12 albums and then carefully taping a ten cent coin to the form and mailing it back. I was excited to get those 12 albums. For a dime! But then a new album started coming every month, and I hadn’t even ordered it. And then the invoices started coming. I raced home from school to get to the letterbox before my dad did and quickly hid them under my bed. Eventually, the invoices were replaced by letters demanding payment until finally one came with a return address from a solicitor’s office. That was the letter my dad found.

Point is (and I have one); ALWAYS ASK FOR PERMISSION FIRST FROM YOUR PARENT, GUARDIAN, BILLPAYER ETC BEFORE MAKING ANY CREDIT PURCHASES. If you don't do this and your payment is later cancelled, you will be permanently banned. So, before you go getting into trouble…stop, engage brain and think. The cost may be more than you ever paid for!

Stay classy San Diego!
