What will I find on the Reach Out! site?

We all go through our ups and downs. Whether you need information or inspiration, there’s something for everyone at the RO! site.

Find: provides information and stories on a range of mental health issues.

Explore: is a tool that finds you information based on how you’re feeling that day (coming soon!)

Connect: where you go to connect with the community through our forums, the blog and youth participation area.

       Volunteering + giving to others

Sharing is caring, people!
How great does it feel when someone does something lovely for
you? You may have been feeling all grey and rain cloud like…and
then out of the blue…a ray of sunshine comes through to you
when a friend or family type person… or just some random…does
something kind and sweet.

What if you were that sunshine type who brightens up the day…
the week…the year of someone else? Did you know that studies
have shown that giving to others and being lovely to others
actually makes you feel happier both in the short term (when you
see their happy little faces) and long term – usually because you
feel like you are connected to others around you.

March is all about volunteering and giving to others!! So let me,
RO-Charlotte, give back to you and show you how you can
give to others. You may have some examples about how you
have spread those golden rays that you like to share with the
InfoBus.

Have a look-see and some of these links to get yo’selves in the
right frame o’ mind before the InfoBus kicks into gear on the
10th and 24th of March @ 5pm AEDST.
